Christine Chapman AM

Chair, Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee,

National Assembly for Wales

Dear Ms Chapman,

I am the owner of Cenarth Falls Holiday Park in Cenarth, Ceredigion. This is a holiday and touring park business, providing 30 pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents and 89 pitches for static holiday caravans.

I write in response to the consultation on the Holiday Caravan Sites (Wales) Bill. My trade association, BH&HPA has responded on behalf of all members and I endorse their evidence - on this link - to you.

I am particularly concerned that any misdemeanours in respect of a Parks site licence will attract a fine of a flat rate of £500 irrespective of the size of business (ie unfair to the smaller Parks in comparison to the likes of very large organizations)

I ask please that you ensure my park business is not placed at competitive disadvantage, jeopardising the direct and indirect employment we sustain.

Yours sincerely,

Howell Davies.
